Steve formed Engaged Leadership Advisors to work with CEO’s and their leadership teams to drive change and significantly improve performance. He leverages his successful senior level operating experience in both global Fortune 100 companies, mid-size and venture backed companies as well as having advised leaders while at Alvarez & Marsal. Having “sat in the chair” his experience includes driving growth (both organically and via acquisition), leading turn-around situations and changing strategic direction.

Given the breadth and depth of his experience, Steve is able to look at every situation with “Fresh Eyes” – constantly asking questions about why things are the way they are, and more importantly, how they need to be transformed.

Developed by both a hands-on, successful operating executive and learning expert, this experience-based program re-invigorates and renews leadership capabilities, focusing on three essential skills that enable leaders to become more engaged, drive transformational change, and get results through dynamic execution.  Rather than traditional concept-based training, this program is a “get your hands dirty” interactive-work environment where attendees learn new approaches and draw upon their prior experiences to re-invigorate and practice these skills, allowing them to go back to their jobs and begin using these skills immediately to drive change and deliver improved performance.

Expected Outcomes

Participants experience a renewed appreciation of these engagement skills to learn:

-How to “see issues/opportunities with “Fresh Eyes” and new perspectives

-How to “leverage the power of their engagement skills” by “Connecting” with employees, customers, suppliers and other key constituents to generate more and better informed decisions

– How a focus on a vital few “Hot Buttons” can eliminate clutter and sharpen focus to drive immediate change and improvement

-Collectively, how to combine these three skills to “let up the clutch” for leaders to engage others, be more decisive, move faster, drive change and get results

The program consists of an initial Workshop, individual post-workshop activities and coaching support, and a second Workshop. The continuity of support, coupled with a personal commitment from the attendees, ensures these skills can be practiced and implemented immediately to drive change when back on the job.
